Forget The Night Ahead
I have heard lots of good things about the Scottish quartet and now I have finally got into them and I'm surprised I have missed out on them upto now. This is the follow up to the acclaimed debut ,'Fourteen autumns and fifteen winters' and it is their time to takeover. It is an uncomprising collection of feedback tinged dark anthems. It's like Mogwai and Idlewild working togther, which can only be a good thing.
It is a very autumn album and one which benefits from headphone treatment and dark nights. I don't think they have Glasvegas crossover potential but they have still have produced an interesting album which reveals more on each listen. It noisy and exciting.
