Sunday 12th September '10: FUN LOVIN CRIMINALS 14+ Formed in 1993 when Huey found himself behind the bar at New York's Limelight where he met Fast, who was working in the bowels of the club. Fast was already in a band at this point - he and F-L-C's first drummer Steve-O had formed a techno group. Meanwhile, Huey was spending a lot of time playing blues guitar and soon started writing tunes with Fast. Huey and Fast recruited Steve-O to drum, and the Fun Lovin' Criminals were born. www.funlovincriminals.tv
The second fundraising weekend of gigs for the National Society of Epilepsy (NSE) is returning to The Cluny this weekend, featuring the cream of new North East talent.
The event, which was a huge success earlier this year, boasts a stellar regional line-up with tickets priced at £6 for each day or £10 for the weekend.

Multi-instrumentalist, Anja McCloskey releases her debut EP Turn, Turn, Turn on September 3rd 2010. McCloskey of UK indie folksters Haunted Stereo is a relative veteran of the music scene for her tender years. It's with Haunted Stereo that Anja discovered that much of her creative inspiration veered towards, and suited, a folk arrangement. This included the composition of songs such as Cross the Sea, a Q MagazineTrack of the Day, and to singing lead vocals on Santy Anno.
